What Does RPCV Sponsored Mean?

This means that a register business owner can sponsor a friend or colleague’s business.  Since a non-RPCV or PC Staff cannot add a listing on their own, the RPCV or PC Staff will have to create an account and listing for them.

Do I need to be an RPCV or RPCV Staff to register as an individual user?

No, registration is allowed for anyone who would like to recommend and /or receive reports on new listings as they are added to the site.  This allows for better promotion of RPCV businesses.

Why do I have to be an RPCV/RPCV Staff to list or sponsor a business?

To ensure the integrity of the site, we require that an RPCV “vouch” for the business to reinforce it’s legitimacy.  The whole idea of the site is to promote good businesses within the RPCV community.

If I delete my account, will my recommendations on other people’s listings disappear?

No, your account and listings will disappear but your recommendations will remain.

What types of sponsored listings are acceptable?

We in the process of determining which types of sponsored listings are acceptable for the site. Please submit any that you believe to be relevant. We will review and contact you with any questions.

My listing that I just added is not showing.  Where is it?

All listings need to be reviewed for relevance before they are published on the site. Normally they will appear within a few hours of submittal.

Do listings expire?

Not yet.  We will be adding functionality soon to require that listings be renewed every 6 months or so to keep the site fresh and relevant.  An email will be sent out to the listing owner. If the owner does not respond within a certain timeframe, the listings will be removed.

The site is free. We ask that you support the site through the advertising links on the site.  Enjoy!
